Osa Danam

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dad was from Denmark and Mom is Spanish and Apache. Family moved to Los Angeles and Dad worked for Edgar Bergen and Ken Murray. Osa has always loved acting and show business. After a good education went to New York and did summer stock and then lived in the City and did Broadway and Off Broadway and children's theater. Was on the board of directors for Robert F. Kennedy Children's Theater. Was married to Meco Monardo, well known record producer and arranger. She did lots of studio work during this period and toured with various rock groups. Split from Meco and returned to Los Angeles. Continued career in theater and television. Also did the wild animal shows at Six Flags Magic Mountain (6 years) doing over 25 appearances on television with various wild animals (lions and tigers and bears). In this capacity she works with Stefanie Powers and The William Holden Wildlife Foundation and has gone to Africa to do a documentary on the work being done. This is on going. Did lots of production work in the the late 80s. In the early 90s went home to New Mexico where she had her own theater arts complex and was on the board of directors of Wildlife West Adventure Park. Back in Los Angeles since 1998 she has been a professional photographer, costumer, producer and director aside from lots of acting.
