Max Tucci is a Telly Award Winning Producer, a three time Communicator Award winner and a TV and Radio Personality. Since 2008, his radio show MAX & Friends airs Sundays at 8pm PST on L.A. Talk Radio. The show has expanded to a new podcast titled The Best of Max & Friends which airs on all podcast platforms, featuring some of the best of his thousands of shows throughout the years. Max's TV show "Eye On The People with Max Tucci" aired on WSFL, The CW. The show is now working on its second season. Max is the producer of The Polished Woman Web Series and Roar with Shari, podcast. In addition, Max is the creative director of The Polished Woman luxury brand. Max is in the process of writing an entertainment/cookbook on his family's restaurant Delmonico's. in 2019, Max won a Telly Award for best producer of a web series for 'The Polished Woman". In 2020, he took home three Communicator Awards for 'On-Air Talent' for MAX & Friends, one for best episode of MAX & Friends; Best of Shows, and for producer of The Polished Woman. Born on February 14th, 1979 in New York City to Mario and Gina Tucci. Tucci is the grandson of the famous restaurateur Oscar Tucci of Oscar's Delmonico, Delmonico's (The first restaurant in New York City, 1827). Growing up, Tucci lived between Manhattan, New York, Greenwich, Connecticut and Firenze, Italy. As a youth Tucci was blessed with a cultured lifestyle, from horses to world travel. He was educated in private schools in the United States and Europe. Growing up, Tucci reached for the stars and while doing so, he became an equine which led to winning many hunter paces around the northeast. Tucci also became involved in photography. At 13, Tucci requested a darkroom in his home. Tucci's many hours in the field and in the studio resulted in a very successful career in photography. He eventually met renowned fashion photographer and model scout and agency owner Beth Boldt. (Boldt is responsible for discovering Naomi Campbell). Beth Boldt and Tucci hit it off. At 16, Tucci became Boldt's assistant and would travel the United States with Boldt scouting and shooting models for respected agencies such as FORD and NEXT, to name a few. Tucci quickly carved his name into the fashion photography world. He exhibited his work all over the metro area, won many photography competitions and became the Gold Key Holder of Visual Arts in the State of Connecticut. His portfolio won him the Gold Key and was judged by photographer Cindy Sherman. Tucci's love for fashion did not stop with the camera. Tucci at 18, debuted his Ready-to-Wear collection entitled, 'My Other Sister'. Tucci immediately became sought after by many celebrities and socialites around the world. Famed musician, Taja Sevelle personally called Tucci to be her personal designer for her Matrix Music, Detroit's on Fire Tour. Tucci is well known for his hand beaded french lace skirts with interchangeable linings. His work has been used in many photo shoots and showcased at numerous red carpet events. Tucci went from creating a woman's line to creating a men's line titled, MANBYMAX. His collections are still being sold to private clients. At 19, Tucci began a Public Relations firm, representing many well know clients from authors, television personalities to musicians. Tucci's firm was known for it's elaborate parties celebrated at boutiques in New York City and Florence, Italy. At 21, Tucci dissolved his firm and became a one, on-one publicist for his clients. To date, he represents and manages celebrity clients who have become friends. While living in Italy, Tucci scouted for international films(Tucci is the International scout and director for The Greenwich Film Festival), studied Art History, learned to make mosaics, worked on recipes with his private chef and took many cooking classes throughout Italy and restored his Villa. Tucci was also known to be the consummate host, creating lavish affairs for designer and celebrity friends while in Italy. Entertaining and cooking is not only a part of his legacy but is in his DNA. It was when Tucci returned from Italy, he received a telephone call from celebrity stylist Derek Khan to become a part of Television History. Tucci was asked to be a Lifestyle/Fashion expert on 'America's Next Top Model with Tyra Banks'. Tucci now held another title under his belt "On-Air talent". After his appearance on Top Model, Tucci was offered many reality shows. However, due to his free-spirited lifestyle of traveling Tucci turned them down. Tucci then received a telephone call from WE (Women's Entertainment) to be a part of their new series part US Weekly part Sex and the City, Young, Sexy &...! A portion of Tucci's life was documented. The show syndicated internationally. Max was asked to be on America's Next Top Model for season 3. In addition, Tucci was featured on WB as a guest during NYC fashion week. Shortly after Tucci's exposure on Television and his attendance to many affluent events, Gotham Magazine asked Tucci if he would be on Gotham's 100 Most Eligible Bachelors List. Tucci accepted. Shortly after the magazine was published, Tucci received a phone call from Dystel and Goderich Literary Management to publish a Bachelors Cookbook. Although the book was never published, Tucci has gone on to do other books. Tucci was also asked to do a cooking show entitled What's Cooking. Tucci was asked to be part of WB's new reality show Survival of the Richest, Tucci declined, due to being in a contract to produce and host a bachelors cooking show. The show's treatment was written for Tucci by Kemp Vaden Productions. Tucci and NBA All-Star, Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" created a cooking show, they began to film the show when Dawkins was called to do an NBA speaking tour to the Middle East to inspire American troops. The show was put on hold. After Dawkins return to the U.S. he became ill and passed away. Tucci has had considerable involvement with the literary world. While working on his cookbook, Tucci was asked by television therapist Dr. Grace Cornish to give a testimony for her book, 'The Sacred Bond'. Al Roker's called Tucci to be part of his book 'BIG Shoes' Tucci's 2 hour interview for the book, turned into 6 pages and was described as "one the best addition to the book." Eduardo Xol (Extreme Makeover Home Edition) asked Tucci to be part of his book "Extreme Entertaining Made Simple" Xol was prompted to ask Tucci to design "The Classic Dinner Party" after Xol was invited to Tucci's Villa in Florence, Italy where Tucci held an exquisite dinner party for Xol. Tucci was asked by Josh Sapin to contribute to his book 'The Big Picture'. Tucci supplied a photograph from his Delmonico's archives, which is the largest archival selection of epicurean artifacts dating back to the 1800's. Tucci has donated both time and money to several organizations, such as The Montefiore Children's Hospital, Community of Unity in New York, The American Ballet Theater, The former Chances for Children founded by Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York, Boy's Town, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, The Lithuania Orphanage Fund, The Children's Health Fund and the American Diabetes Association, SOS Children's Villages, Unicorn Children's Foundation, Neighbor's 4 Neighbor's, The Arc of Palm Beach County. Max serves on the board of The Lehman Center of The Performing Arts in The Bronx. Max has chaired numerous events in New York, Los Angeles, and Palm Beach and has raised millions of dollars. He has been awarded by many organizations. Tucci's commitment to public service and dedication in working with charities and philanthropies in many sectors and his help to stop diabetes, led, the American Diabetes Association to present Tucci and his sister Nicoletta the Young Leadership in Philanthropy Award. Eva La Rue with Academy Award Winner Celeste Holm presented the award to the Tucci's. In addition to continuing to pursue his philanthropic and creative venture, Tucci has Oscar's Delmonico collection of cookbooks, sauces and home wear in the works. Tucci and his sister, Nicoletta are researching the possibility of opening another Oscar's Delmonico. Tucci has a passion for hosting television shows that feature Cooking, Entertaining, Lifestyle and Fashion. Tucci resides between Florida, Los Angeles, Colorado and Florence, Italy.
