Miro Laiho

Miro Laiho is a director, producer and writer. His newest credits include two theatrical feature films: "Swingers" (2018) and Jussi (Finnish Oscars) -nominated film "Täydellinen joulu" (2019, best picture nomination), which was third in Finland's box office in 2019. In both films Miro worked as a production manager. Miro has directed and produced dozens of short films, commercials and music videos, including three award-winning short films and two Emma (Finnish "Grammy") nominated music videos, from which one is the most viewed video in Finland in 2015. Miro has a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Media in TAMK School of Art and Media and a Specialist Qualification in Business Management with a focus on internationalization. In 2012 Miro founded Time Films, a production company focusing on emotional storytelling. Miro has produced, co-directed and co-written "Kallion eläimet", an animation series for adults, as well as produced and directed other web series for Yle (Finland's national broadcast television channel).
