Craig Henderson

Henderson has had lead roles on screen and on stage, notably in the indie horror film 'The Toybox' which won Best Foreign Film at VIFFI in Los Angeles and the hard hitting play 'Say Sorry' (Best Play at the Dublin theatre festival). His clean cut good looks have led to several international commercial campaigns, the latest being a series of ice cream commercials with Liz Hurley. The commercial he did for Toyota, in which he raced around the deck of a ship in a storm, scored Saatchi & Saatchi's biggest uptake of any commercial, going to 22 countries. Played an American air force pilot in the PBS/Jeremy Isaacs Production 2020, History of the Future. Has worked with Robert Hardy, Peter Bowles, Elizabeth Hurley, Alexandra Bastedo, Jaime Murray and Simon Mason. Studied at RADA and in Los Angeles with the Groundlings and Brian Reece. Gained an MA hons in Classical Art & Archaeology from Edinburgh University, where he also won two academic scholarships & competed on the University sprint team. Initially, on gaining his degree he couldn't decide between being an army officer or an artist. (He is an accomplished landscape artist with work in private and corporate collections). He started as an artist but soon made a career change to study acting. A keen animal lover, he raises money for otter charities. Accomplished marksman and skier he has competed at an international level in military pentathlon. Has a Golden Retriever named Digby.
