Cogee is an African-American actor, model, music artist, television/radio personality, philanthropist and up-and-coming author. Cogee realized at an early age his dream to be an actor in the entertainment industry. His dream took him from Louisville, Kentucky all the way across the country to the west coast, between both Las Vegas and Los Angeles. He was hired to go to Canada as a Co-Host in the talk show, Unzipped, which aired on CanWest Global Television Network. Due to conflict of production, the show ended after the first season. Cogee came back to the U.S. to continue his modeling and acting career, never taking a pause in the entertainment business. He guest starred in many films, tv series and commercials such as Vegas Vamps, Guys All Out, CSI (tv series), Las Vegas (tv series), Blind Date, America's Most Wanted, Jacobi's Men's Fashions, several major casinos, 24 Hr Fitness and much more. After Cogee accomplished this, he went on to produce and direct a series of public service announcements, trying to bring knowledge and awareness to the world. His vision led him to write two movie scripts as well as a hot new book to help youths, young fathers, and young ladies overcome life's problems the right way - with guidance and with a role model's blessing. His greatest passion comes from helping his fellow man and woman to overcome life's obstacles. Everyone is quick to call Cogee for advice. He keeps it real, very respectful, but very truthful. In 2009, upon request from several different people, Cogee began an internet radio show, Conversations With Cogee(TM). He helped several friends and music artists in getting their story and music out to the world and taught them how to give proper interviews. It was a great success but too small of an arena for his talent. He knew he needed to be heard by the whole world thus further leading him to reinvent himself. That is when he talked to a good friend of his, who used to be on the radio, and who advised Cogee to go to a station, KLAV. Not hesitating, Cogee went the next day. As history would have it, he would fall right in place at the right time to land a hot spot in the Las Vegas 2-5 rush hour drive. Continuing his dream as the voice of the people, he branded his show, Conversations With Cogee(TM), making it even hotter. It started out as a one-hour program, but the show was too impactful for that hour. The phone lines stayed too busy for his conversation so the radio station extended his time (ranging between 3 and 4 hours). He has proven that there is still not enough time for how much is on his heart and in his mind to impact and share with the whole world. His topics range from everything in the news to everything that deals with everyday life-its problems and successes, And Cogee brings the solutions. He has featured several high profile names such as Percy Miller, Warrick Dunn, Brian J. White, Wendy R. Robinson, Monte Sanders, Todd Bridges, Kem, Saigon, Kevin "The Monster" Randleman, Mary Jo Buttafuoco, Datari Turner, Ty Hodges and so many more. Cogee is a humanitarian and puts forth his efforts to countless organizations and causes, mostly centered on the betterment of our youth! He has won awards from Clark County Family Services for having large clothing and food drives, is a sponsor for Pop Warner Little League Football, to name a few. He continues to speak to many inner city youths as well as volunteering his time. Cogee is also the new face of the campaign against pedophiles. Cogee naturally became the founder and president of Hands Off Our Children(TM), a 501C(3) Non-profit organization (exempt status pending) with a main mission to raise awareness, implement tougher punishments on convicted pedophiles and provide services and support to victims of sexual child abuse. After dedicating one 3-hr show a month to the topic of child-abuse awareness, The Hands Off Our Children Show(TM) premiered in January of 2012, featuring several high profile leaders and advocates of the movement. Some names include Ed Smart -President of the SPC(Surviving Parents Coalition), Linda Walker (SPC), Erin Runnion, Kevin "The Monster" Randleman (Former UFC Champion), Angela Rose (P.A.V.E),Vicki Kelly advocate/Co-Founder of the Tommy Foundation, Bob Hamer - former FBI agent and author of "The Last Undercover".
