Olivia was born in London, England and enjoyed a 20 year career as an award-winning journalist before re-training as an actress at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, whose alumni have included Luke Mably and Nichol Williamson. She quickly established herself as a classical actress working in London theater, where her roles included Charlotte Robespierre in Barrie Keeffe's play Shadows on the Sun, in which she worked closely alongside the award-winning writer, best known for gangster film The Long Good Friday. Screen roles to date have included the quirky It's Okay to Drink Whiskey which featured at the Sundance Film Festival, playing an American senator for the BBC in the series Days That Shook The World, and the expressionistic film The Night Breeze, shot in France. TV credits include Nip/Tuck. Oliva is also an exhibited artist, screenwriter, photographer and poet. She is based in Los Angeles.
