'Chef B', as he is affectionately known by close friends is a Southern California native with roots in the deep south of America - Louisiana and Texas. His culinary influences began at home with his maternal grandparents. Both were chefs at one time or another and loved to cook and host large gatherings at their home. Having always been a hands-on type of person, he quickly began to mimic his grandparents and others in the kitchen. Before her demise, his mother reminded him, at 2 years of age, his whimpering awoke her early one morning. She quickly ran to investigate the cause of his sorrow, but called off her search to follow the scent of burning food - only to find him standing on a chair in tears over their toaster. When she realized he'd thrown away a half loaf of burnt toast, she immediately knew that her son was going to be a cook; and she was going to have to set rules and limitations in the kitchen. Never letting go of his passion to cook, he combined it with his natural talents of entertainment. Cooking and selling foods such as, Oven BBQ Chicken, Mini Pizzas and the top seller of his college repertoire, Whiting Fish Sandwiches from from his college dormitory earned him the nickname of Fish Man! He and his customers developed a routine that they all loved to be apart of: Customer: Fish Man, tell me what you got today? Chef B: (speeding through the rundown) Well.....TODAY. I've got a Whiting fish sandwiches with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, bell peppers, cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and hot sauce - all on whole wheat sub. One for three, two for five. How many can I get you tonight? If your $2.50 short, don't worry about it, your roommate will cover the rest for you because he'd never let you eat alone.
