Nicholas Wenger is a writer, director and editor currently living in Los Angeles. He earned his bachelor's degree at UCLA, where he majored in Psychology, but spent most of his time working for the school's closed-circuit TV station. He later attended USC's renowned School of Cinematic Arts, where he earned his MFA. After school, he focused his attention on commercials. Working with MoFilm Agency out of the UK, he directed prize-winning content for Chevrolet, Durex, Johnny Walker, KPMG, and others. His work was honored at the World Cup in Sao Paulo and at the Cannes Lions Festival. He has been the recipient of the Panavision New Filmmaker Award, the W3 Award and the Communicator Award. He directed the live-action segments for the kids' show Mack & Moxy, which airs on PBS networks and streams on Netflix, working with guest stars Keegan-Michael Key, Kal Penn, Matt Lucas and Jim Carrey. Wenger has worked as an editor for Amazon's Goliath, ABC's Bless This Mess, and the unscripted program Wonder Women for Hallmark Channel, which won the Emmy Award for outstanding Travel & Adventure Program. He has edited commercials and branded content for a long list of clients, including RSA/Cornetto's "Cupidity" campaign which won the Silver Lion. He most recently directed the short film The Kid, which saw success on the festival circuit before being featured on DUST (Gunpowder & Sky), Amazon Prime and DirecTV's ShortsHD channel. It's a sci-fi action piece that serves as a proof-of-concept for a feature that he's currently developing.
