Kevin Glover is a former American football center for the Detroit Lions (1985-1997), and Seattle Seahawks (1998-1999). He attended the University of Maryland. He was a key blocker for Barry Sanders allowing him to excel as one of the greatest rushers in NFL history. During his long pro career he was known as one of the best centers in the game. A first-team All-American at Maryland in 1984 and a member of the school's Athletics Hall of Fame, Glover was a second-round selection by the Detroit Lions in the 1985 NFL Draft. He anchored a line that helped Barry Sanders rush for 2,053 yards in 1997 and ultimately earned three trips to the Pro Bowl. He was his team's NFL Player Association Representative for six seasons and was elected to serve on that organization's executive committee for two years.
