Phil was born and raised in Scotland, UK where he still resides. He has been described as a "freelance journalist","filmmaker", "actor" and "writer/director", none of which he takes to heart. When he isn't working on films or studying for his degree in Media, Culture and Society he is normally writing articles for Gorezone a new independent Horror magazine or catching up on work at the Horror Asylum which is the UK's premiere site for all things horror genre related. The site is visited by over two million fans and industry personnel every month.
