Danny Silva

Daniel Silva was born in Portland, Oregon in the summer of 1984. Eldest son in a family of 6 (parents: Gilbert and Joyce Silva, siblings: Beth, Dustin and Donna Silva), Daniel and his family finally settled down in the town of West Linn, Oregon by the time he was entering 2nd grade. Falling into theater during his stint at West Linn High School, he played a handful of roles of stage, each one more obscure and different from the last. During his junior and senior year, Daniel started teaching acting and directing classes for the high school. Rounding out his academic life with his very own stage production of "One Fell Swoop", written by Scott Steussy, he left school behind for the all-too-well-known trip to Los Angeles. After various student film work and behind-the-scenes coffee fetching, Daniel secured his first role in a feature-length film as the character Jeff in Brandon Nicholas' Beauty in Chaos (2004). Currently, Daniel has fallen back under the radar, sticking to smaller roles in the more experimental sides of independent film. Outside the movie industry, he has long been known for his self-published poetry and plans to release 2 new compilations in late 2005.
