Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cecilia Conti grew up in Austin, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio, Television, and Film. A true Austenite at heart, Conti began her career in the entertainment industry as part of the Austin Film Society to later become part of the publicity team at Miramax Films. Her experience quickly landed her at Troublemaker Studios where she first joined Robert Rodriguez's team, assisting him during some of his biggest directorial feature projects including "Spy Kids 3D", "Sin City", "Sharkboy and Lavagirl", and "Grindhouse". Conti later moved to Los Angeles to further expand her expertise and solidify herself within the then emerging world of digital marketing working for leading companies like Overture Films, Relativity Media and Twentieth Century Fox. During her time at Overture Films Conti helped to develop marketing campaigns for projects like: "Paper Heart", "The Visitor", "Let me In", and "The Crazies". As Director of Digital Marketing for Relativity Media she spearheaded the development, execution, and managed digital marketing campaigns for feature films including: "Limitless", "Act of Valor", "Safe Haven", and "The Fighter" . Conti then joined the Digital Marketing team at Twentieth Century Fox as a consultant where she developed and implemented custom campaigns to strategically target consumers among the leading social media platforms for feature films: "A Good Day to Die Hard", "The Wolverine", "The Croods", "Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters", and "Turbo". In 2013 Conti returned to Austin to re-join Robert Rodriguez's creative collective and help launch El Rey Network as Director of Creative Operations. Now as VP of Marketing, she leads the department including the Social and Publicity teams as well as being an integral part of the leadership group driving the creative and strategic success of the groundbreaking enterprise.
