A South Florida native, Alix spent nearly a decade in New York doing theatre as well as industrial/commercial and film work before traveling on tour with her husband Dodd Loomis, the resident director of Disney's "The Lion King". Alix also worked in the South Florida theatre scene, during which she earned a Best Actress Carbonell nomination for her portrayal of "Aldonza" in Man of La Mancha, a role which she has played 3 times. She and her husband now reside in New Orleans and Alix continues to work in theatre and film. Alix graduated from the University of Miami with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
