Gledis Cinque made her film debut in Mira Nair's 2004 feature "Vanity Fair." After that very first experience, she continued studying acting gaining a diploma at Centro Studi Teatro Carcano in Milan in 2007. She also attended various acting courses at RADA, NYFA (LA) and Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC). She trained as a dancer, studying ballet, contemporary, modern and jazz dancing. She performed in several features, short movies, TV shows and music videos with supporting and leading roles. In 2009 a major Italian weekly magazine named her one of the most promising young Italian actresses. More recently she played the lead in the features "Miriam - Il diario", "Luci Spente", and "The Rule of Lead" that won several international awards. In 2018, after a very successful crowdfunding, she resumed her role as the lead in Ischidados, set be released in 2019. In 2018 she also played a part in the upcoming TV series 1994, directed by Giuseppe Gagliardi and produced by Wildside and Sky Italia. Gledis co-founded the theatre company "PaT - Passi Teatrali" based in Milan, producing contemporary and original plays that toured various Italian theatres and festivals. In 2012 PaT won the prestigious Fringe Spirit Award at the Rome Fringe Festival. PaT also co-produced the feature "Luci Spente", adapted from an original play performed by the company itself. "Luci Spente" won the Gold Remi Award for "Animation Film - Any Technique" at the 2016 WorldFest Houston. She is from Italy, and nowadays lives between London and Milano. She graduated a MSc in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment at Università Bocconi (Milan) with a First Class Honours.
