Francesca Picozza

Francesca Picozza was born in 1979 in Rome and has worked in Sweden from 2006 til 2012 as an actress and translator of theater scripts in Stockholm. She worked both as an actress and as assistant director for cinema and theater with directors as Lina Wertmüller, Marco Bellocchio, Davide Ferrario and Gabriele Lavia. Francesca Picozza is author of a book about Ingmar Bergaman, published in Italy with the title "Il Maestro raccontato" by Sovera Edizioni. She also wrote for Flash Art and Il Fatto Quotidiano. She is co-author, together with Christina Clausen, of the documentary "Giorgio de Chirico, amidst revelation and enigma", produced by Rai Storia.
