Michela Ledwidge

Michela Ledwidge is a director who specialises in realtime and virtual production as well as writing and editing. She is known for virtual production direction and editing of the Son In Law and Executive Time videos for Harry Shearer's album, The Many Moods of Donald Trump (2020), for ACO Virtual (2013) and Horses for Courses (2001). She is both creative and technical lead on most of her productions and is acknowledged as a pioneer for her award-winning 'remixable' approach to film architecture. Michela was born in Australia and grew up in many countries across four continents due to her parents' work with the Australian Trade Commission. Since 1993 she has led cutting edge media projects in Europe, Australia and the US. She founded Mod Films in the UK in 2004 and Mod Productions (Mod) in Australia in 2010. She has served as Vice President-Digital of the Australian Directors Guild, and was a co-founder of the Sydney Unity Users Group and Women in AR & VR, Sydney.
