Kevin Krisciunas

Astronomer, science writer, science song writer. Ph. D. in astronomy, University of Washington (2000). Co-wrote with Margaret Harshbarger a comic opera called Total Eclipse, which was performed at University of Hawaii, Hilo, in 1991. Translator (from German) of The History of Astronomy from Herschel to Hertzsprung (Cambridge Univ. Press, 1984). Author of Astronomical Centers of the World (Cambridge Univ. Press, 1988). Has taught roughly 2000 undergrads at Texas A&M University. Author or coauthor of more than 200 scientific publications.
