Born in Pasadena, California, Scott Crocker is a documentary and feature film director whose award-winning work has screened at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), San Francisco's De Young Museum, the VIlla Medici in Rome and at film festivals around the world. Trained principally as a visual anthropologist, Scott graduated magnum cum laude from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and has studied with cinéma vérité iconoclast Jean Rouch, maverick cinematographer Haskell Wexler, and philosophical film theorist Stanley Cavell. Scott resides in Berkeley where his production company, Small Change Productions, is also based.
