Years ago, on a dare, Cooper auditioned for a play. He was cast in the lead role and became addicted to acting. He then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and after studied with Judy Bohannon, Cliff Osmond, Danny Spear and others. He has performed in numerous plays across the United States and in films and television shows. Cooper had a 1-Year Recurring Role on the CBS/Trilogy TV series "The Magnificent Seven," Taken from the original western, a Guest Role in the S. Korean serial drama "Meeserinims," and other Film and TV appearances. Cooper originated the role of Joe in the hit play "American Grind," appeared as Old Man in Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love" which received a Garland Award theater nomination, and originated the role of Digger in the play "A Fitting End," now in pre-production as a Feature Film. He has performed Shakespeare and in numerous dramas and comedies in theaters across the United States and in films and television shows. Cooper is SAG/AFTRA eligible but has not joined yet. On February 15th, 2014 Cooper Anderson finished principal photography on the feature film "Eye of the Empress II, The Escape." He had to create an insane, scary wicked and oddly funny character in Oso Gordo.
