Jennifer Grace Cook

Jennifer has worked in entertainment for more than 20 years in television and film development, production and marketing; including at HBO, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Columbia Tri Star, ABC and NBC. She's held staff and production positions on numerous TV pilots and indie films, as well as on marketing roles for big budget studio films. She's worked on several large live events such as the Democratic National Convention, the Presidential Inaugural Gala, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Aspen Comedy Festival. Additionally, Jennifer was on the team that created the groundbreaking outreach campaign, SAGIndie, for the Screen Actors Guild. In its first six years, this international education and awareness raising campaign resulted in the creation of nearly 200,000 jobs and over 90 million in income for SAG actors. Her work with boutique marketing agency The Brakefield Company, included the creation of film festival strategic plans and marketing for indie films as well as the creation of an alternative screening and educational program expansion for Murry Sidlin's award-winning documentary film and live orchestra performance piece Defiant Requiem: Verdi at Terezin. Jennifer has written 15 feature length screenplays and a one-hour dramatic TV series (8 work-for-hire, 3 optioned originals) including an adaptation of Jim Harrison's novella Julip for director Alyson Eastwood. Jennifer is the writer on Lily, a narrative feature film based upon the life of Holocaust survivor Lily Mazur Margules. An Educational and Social Impact Program will accompany the release of the film. This program will educate audiences and confront attitudes that lead to intolerance, hate crimes and violent extremism.
