Ehren Hertel was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and spent most of his life living on the Kansas side of the state line. In 1999, he worked on his first films with director Todd Sheets, as a zombie in Zombie Bloodbath 3: Zombie Armageddon (2000), the Set Master of Catacombs (2000), and also played a small role in Sheets' unreleased comedy "Say It Again." More recently, he spent a couple of years living in New York City, working for some local companies, as well as taking part in some local independent endeavors. He now currently lives in Kansas City, still active in underground horror and exploitation cinema as a writer and critic, participating in film whenever possible.
