Daniel Finley is an Asian-American writer/director with over ten years of acting experience and art training. Growing up in Milwaukee he's focused his college life on Illustration while acting in commercials and industrial films throughout the Midwest. He obtained his S.A.G. card in 2001 from the film, 'Lady in the Box' and several commercials. Moving to Chicago he refocused to his career to writing, directing, and producing. He's consulted for fledgling production companies like New Native, to working as a video editor for world renowned DDB Needham advertising agency whose clients include Budwiser, Helene Curtis, State Farm, & McDonalds. He's directed seven shorts including documentaries, short narratives, and live performances. In 2000 he won Chicago's CAAP Grant for the short script "The Loss of Light" and has had the feature length screenplay "Quick Mart" optioned by Magnum Pictures. Most recently he placed in the top 25% of Expo's 2006 screenplay contest with "Ghost Faced" as well as having his short script "One Night Stan" published in New American Scurvy 3.
