Manuel Antonio Poblete was born on February 20, 1971 in Curico, Chile. He moved to the USA when he was 7 years old and has called Maryland his home for over 33 years. Manuel's love for acting started when he was attending college and was given a business card from a talent scout. Taking his first acting class was all it took to realize that he had finally found what truly made him happy and decided from that day to be an actor for the rest of his life. Manuel Poblete has been a Professional actor for over 15 years. He has appeared in principal roles on television shows such as "The Wire", "VEEP", "America's Most Wanted", "Psychic Witness", "Interpol", "Navy Seals", and "FBI Files" as well as in various commercials and independent movies. In addition, Manuel has worked as a producer, director and private acting coach. Manuel's reputation as a successful actor has led to requests from well-known organizations to conduct workshops. Most recently, he conducted "Acting for TV and Film" workshops at the 2009 Dominican Republic Global Film Festival. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
