He has a striking intense Asian-warrior appearance. He can portray "Polynesians," "varying Asian ethnicity," and "Native Americans " - His stage and film presence always fascinate audiences. He is a NY base actor who has appeared on major films w Robin Williams, Steven Seagal, Jason Statham, John Travolta and Mickey Rourke, etc. Also performed in numerous theatre productions like "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at BAM, "Hiroshima" (music by Yoko Ono), Japanese Kabuki Theatre (Heisei Nakamuraza) at Lincoln Center and NY Premiere Yukio Mishima's "Lady Aoi" at Terry Schreiber Studio. He is a very dedicated martial artist, who has been training over 25 years and teaches kids traditional Karate at World Seido Karate Organization. He is an attentive listener and his tenacity and discipline rivals that of Bruce Lee's. He is also grounded, focused, flexible, and a warm-heart ed person, which readily shines through his screen presence. His passion inside is always burning and and his spirit doesn't break easily as a willow tree. He is a father to a boy and a girl, and raises them with his beloved partner in New York City. He is a devoted family man and thoroughly enjoys the rigors of fatherhood. His great-grandfather and grandfather came to America via ship to become merchants. His Japanese mother was raised in China during World War II and later lived in US and Japan. His father also went through high school and university in California. Although, he was born and raised in Osaka, Japan, his family's adventurous traveling spirit was instilled in him and he's following his dreams of acting in New York City.
