Khetphet (kem-pet) Phagnasay (pah-yah-sy) goes by the nickname KP, is a Lao-American actor. He is known for his work on the acclaimed Netflix series Dahmer-Monster:The Jeffrey Dahmer Story , portraying Sounthone, the father of 14 years old Laotian victim (5/10 episodes). He also shares a screen with Michelle Yeoh on the upcoming Netflix series, The Brothers Sun, portraying Tong Tang . KP has appeared on the Paramount FBI series, God is an Astronaut, Demon Fighter, Street of Hope, and many more. He has an extensive experience on stage portraying the King in the King and I, Song Liliang in M.Butterfly, Puck in Midsummer Night, Dr.Sun Yat Sen (David Mark Cohen national Playwriting award Pulitzer prize (nominee) and etc. KP was born in Laos on Feb.1,1973. Due to the extended conflict in Vietnam, he had to escape to the United States as a refugee. He grew up in Oswego, Illinois, then to Waianae, Hawaii, before settling in Clovis/Fresno, California. KP earned his B.A. in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fresno. and continued his higher education in Asian Theatre focusing on acting from University of Hawaii, Manoa
