Director and screenwriter. His new film "Lucania, Land Blood and Magic" in collaboration with Rai Cinema won numerous awards since its premiere in Los Angeles at the Chinese Theatre, including three Gran Jury Awards as Best Foreign Film, Best Actress, Best Editing at Houston Film Festival and Best Actor, Best Editing and Best Environmental Film at the Social World Film Festival, also the Hero and Time Award in Russia. His feature film debut "Babylon Sisters" screened in over thirty International Festivals including Rome, Pune, Pula, Trieste, Paris, Milan, Cine Sans Frontieres and Cairo, becoming the image poster of the BFI London Indian Film Festival 2017, at the British Film Institute. Winning Audience Awards and Best First Feature, was sold to major networks like Amazon Prime North America and Canada. A London Film School, Torino Film Lab and Berlinale Talents Campus Alumni, with his graduation short from the London Film School "Chloe Travels Time" Roccati won the Universal Studios Cinemaster Award 2005, an internship at the Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Director of several documentaries, his work "The Road to Kabul" was awarded by RAI and the Ministry of Defense as Best War Documentary of Italian Television 2013, which led him to publish his first photography book with Contrasto. To support new developments and innovative productions in 2018 he created Ardita Film.
