A native of Sydney, Australia, David worked in New York after an extended stay in Tokyo, Japan. He is now based in Los Angeles. He can be seen on your TV or computer in "Criminal Minds", "Orange is the New Black", "The Knick", and "The Blacklist". Regional US theaters he has worked with include Baltimore Center Stage ("Pride and Prejudice"), Shakespeare & Company ("The Beauty Queen of Leenane"), Luna Stage ("A Moon for the Misbegotten", playing Jim Tyrone), Shadow Lawn Stage ("Shining City"), Stageworks/Hudson ("A Wedding Story"), and 12 Miles West ("Darkness to Light", in which he originated the role of Beethoven and played him from age 10 to his death). In New York he worked with the Pearl Theatre Company and a wide range of off-off Broadway companies, such as New York Classical Theatre, Gallery Players, Boomerang Theatre Company, Retro Productions, Seeing Place Theater, Blue Coyote, and Workshop Theater Company; he has also appeared in a couple of Fringe Festivals. In addition to his degree from Theatre Nepean in Sydney, he has trained with Primary Stages, T. Schreiber Studios, and LAByrinth Theater. As well as his performance qualifications, David holds a BA in Linguistics, and he has helped thousands of individuals learn English in his second career as a teacher. Over the years, he has driven a taxi, entertained children in live shows throughout Japan, and performed in Greek ruins in Turkey.
