Teresa Edwards

Teresa Edwards is a Five Time Olympian winning four gold medals and one bronze. Teresa Edwards is the most decorated basketball player in history. Four-time USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year and one of the most respected basketball players around the world. She first put on a USA uniform at the age of 17 at the 1981 U.S. Olympic Festival and was a fixture on USA Basketball teams until the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Some of her accomplishments include: -Four gold medals in the Olympics (2000, 1996, 1988, 1984) -USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year a record four times (2000, 1996, 1990 and 1987) -Inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 2009 -Inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010 -Inducted Naismith Hall of Fame in 2011 -Served as Chef de Mission of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team for the Games in London.
