Olaf Saumer was born in 1976 in Kassel (Germany) of Turkish-German parentage. He began studying Visual Communications at Kassel College of Fine Arts in 1999. In 2005, he wrote, directed, produced and edited his first short feature, "Stille Wasser" (2005). His second short film is "Kleine Annabelle" (2007). His first full length feature film, as an Writer, Director, Producer and Editor known for "Suicide Club" (2010), received several national and international festival prizes.
