Dan Ewald and Rajeev Sigamoney started their writing and producing partnership with "The Room," a spec pilot shot one weekend in 2004 on the CBS Radford lot. Co-starring Tony Hale, Debra Jo Rupp, and Laura Silverman, the project landed them representation with Endeavor. The duo continued with a spec pilot "The Captain" starring Jennifer Coolidge, Wanda Sykes, Cheryl Hines, and Kathy Griffin, building a talent base of their favorite comedic actors. After shooting, they signed a deal with Hazy Mills and Paramount, which took the project out to networks. Ewald and Sigamoney helped write and produce a segment of "The Jimmy Kimmel Show" featuring the The Captain (Tim Bagley) and his wife Nedra (Mindy Sterling) which aired on ABC in 2007. They wrote for the Disney Channel and sold a comedy pilot to FUSE before EP'ing a 10-episode series for Comcast called "The Mascots" with a near-$1 million dollar budget. For much, much less money they independently shot the web series "Jesus People" which ended up being seen by 500,000 youtube viewers and spawned the feature, "Jesus People: The Movie." The film was a big hit on the festival circuit in 2009, playing everywhere from New York City (Friar's Club Comedy Festival) to Los Angeles (L.A. Film Festival) with many stops in between - Tennessee, Michigan, Montana, and Florida. "Jesus People: The Movie" is repped by Spy Filmz. Ewald and Sigamoney are managed by Sheree Guitar.
