Eric L. Robinson has resided in various parts of Asia for about two decades. Spending almost 17 years in Japan, he writes on things Japan based on his experiences as a Marine in Okinawa, business owner in Osaka and Tokyo, actor and businessman. His Black Tokyo blog posts have been mentioned on CNN, CNN Political Blog, France 24, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The Japan Times and others. Zurui earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York, diplomas from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Basic and Intermediate Korean language and is completing his thesis for a Master of Arts in Security Affairs - Far East, Southeast Asia and the Pacific from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. Zurui is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, former Interrogator - Translator, and speaks English, Japanese and Korean. He is working on a fictional novel that deals with his life in Japan and other parts of Asia over the span of 31 years.
