LisaMarie Lamendola got the acting bug from an unorthodox source; her computer teacher, who saw Lisa's vivacious and expressive personality and entered her in a public speaking contest, through Future Business Leaders of America, where she took 1st Place in the region and 1st Runner-Up in New York State. She determined that being in front of an audience, rather than behind a computer would lead to further success. After taking her interviewing style to the Miss New York/USA Pageant, LisaMarie walked away with the Most Photogenic Award and 2nd Runner-Up in the Preliminaries, she moved to Houston, Texas, and won the Swimsuit Competition Finals in Miss Texas/USA. She began studying theater with Chris Wilson in Houston, Texas, and began auditioning and working on local and national productions shot there. Not missing a step, she booked her first TV Hosting job, with a live Talk/Shopping Show, called Consumer Discount Network, where she racked up over 2,400 Live TV hours. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, California, LisaMarie began working on various Television shows and Hosting over nine Infomercials for Fitness and Beauty Products, and made appearances on QVC Shopping Network. In 1996, LisaMarie landed the lead in the Independent Film, Echo of Blue (1996), where she played detective, "Archie Lee".
