Aoife Maria Madden (born August 01, 1981) is an Irish film producer, film director, actress. Graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Professional practice; she then pursued an MA in acting at Arts Educational Drama School. Upon completion of her MA she gained the lead role in Martin McDonagh 'The Lieutenant of Inishmore' with the RSC, from there she starred alongside Holly Hunter on the West End in 'By the Bog of Cats'. Aoife was cast in the ITV production of 'The time of your life', 'Agef' and the feature film 'The Last Drop'. Dissatisfied with her progress in acting, she was determined to become a producer. She got her start working behind the scenes with RTE Studios as a runner and then with production company 'Q-Casting'. In order to gain further experience she became an associate producer on 'Gone Fishing'. Desiring to produce films under her own banner, she founded the company 'Evolved-Pictures' and secured finance to produce her first independent feature 'A Landscape of Lies'.
