Brewier grew up in the hills of Kentucky just outside the little town of Carrollton. In High School he made average grades and played on the basketball team. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1969 while still in school and left for boot camp at Paris Island soon after graduation. Upon discharge from active duty two years later, he bounced from job to job in the Northern and Central Kentucky areas. During this time he was able to obtain a BS Degree in Health Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Upon returning to college to further his education, he met Tricia Pflug, the girl he would soon marry and is still married to 25 years later. They have two beautiful adult daughters, Jessica and Megan. Brewier also has a son, Brett, from a previous marriage. After marriage, he began a career in Health Care Administration, and worked in that field for the next 15 plus years. During this time he joined the Air Force Reserve and was commissioned as a Captain in the Medical Service Corp. Soon after joining, his unit was activated for Operation Desert Storm. He later took a break from Health Care Administration to form his own Medical Billing Service which he operated for 5 years. Upon returning to Health Care Administration, he became disillusioned and sought a distraction from his frustrations. At the age of 52 he decided to take an acting class and immediately knew he had finally found something for which he had a passion.
