Paul Byrom was born on April 11, 1979. Paul is a talented tenor from Dublin, Ireland. He has performed for Irish President Mary McAleese, Japanese Emperor Akihito, President Barack Obama and Taoiseach Brian Cowen, as well as at Dublin's Croke Park, Pittsburgh's Heinze Field and the New York St. Patrick's Day Parade. Paul, known as Ireland's Premier Young Tenor, has had consecutive sell out solo concerts at the National Concert Hall in 2006, 2007, and 2008. He appeared on the inaugural TV ratings hit series 'Celebrity Jigs & Reels' where he reached the final. Paul made his TV acting debut on RTE in Ireland's top rated soap Fair City. He has appeared numerous appearances on Ireland AM. In 2005 Paul released his first solo album, "Velvet." He followed it with "I'll be Home For Christmas in 2008." His talent has been complimented by Ireland's Shay Healy, Phil Coulter and Bono. Phil Coulter and Sharon Browne invited Paul Byrom to be one of the 5 soloists of the show Celtic Thunder. Their videos include "Celtic Thunder: The Show," "Celtic Thunder: Take Me Home," and "Celtic Thunder: It's Entertainment," The group has released 4 CDs and have plans for several more. Paul is an ambassador for Irish based charity GOAL, which raises funds for their relief efforts in the Third World. He has visited Calcutta where much of the charities work is done and hopes to go further a field with them in order to try and raise awareness of the charities goals and ambitions.
