Luis Deltell is Filmmaker and Associate Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.He teaches courses on the History of Spanish Cinema and the History of Images at the Department of Communication Sciences (Facultad de Ciencias de la Información). He is Professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He received his PhD in Communication Studies and won the Special Award of Bachelor of Communication Studies, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2001. He is also Young Award for Research and Communication, General Foundation of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2003. He published the book "Madrid in the cinema of the fifties" Government Department of Arts (Ayuntamiento de Madrid). Madrid. 2006. ISBN 84-96102-27-0. He has also been director and screenwriter following audiovisual works: Corre, Adrián; País soñado; Di Algo; En la ciudad perdida. With whom he has won thirty international awards. He founded the film production company: Producciones Gozne. He has been Visiting Professor at the universities of Bergamo, Sapienza, Sorbonne, Stanford and Cairo.
