Brian Nolen, past mascot for Louisiana State University, graduated in theater from LSU. In high school he thought that the coolest thing to do was to be the school mascot. He mascotted as a Pirate, a Parrot, and as a "Rebel-Man". He figured he had so much fun in high school that he would do the same in college. Upon entering LSU, he auditioned for the school mascot, got it, and mascotted all four years of college. Brian played tennis in high school and was a trainer for football practices before mascotting. He also ran track in high school and while running hurdles at his junior year regionals, he lost his footing, tripped and was about to smash into a hurdle, so he just picked it up and ran a couple feet before walking off the track.
