As a Cinematographer, Andrés Garzas endeavors to have his visual interpretation of the narrative be embraced by the audience. The convergence of the visual story, with an artistic vision and technical expertise are at the core of Andres's love for film and his work as a Director Of Photography. Whether it is a tourism spot, an avant-garde piece, long format, or music video, Andres Garzas creates the story by supporting the director's vision and interpreting page to screen with a visual resonance. Among his projects, his work on Coca-Cola, Aristocrazy Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Through The Breaking Glass as well as the documentaries and music videos shot by Andres have enjoyed world wide recognition, his work singled out with numerous accolades, awards and being accepted into film festivals around the world. Garzas studied cinematography in Madrid, concurrently working as an A/C on internationally renown films; among them: Pedro Almodóvar's Talk To Her, Milos Forman's Goya Ghost, El Dos de Mayo, directed by Jose Luis Garci, and Black Butterfly, directed by Pancho Lombardi, In addition to his film work, Andrés commercial campaigns include Vodaphone, Toyota, Major League Baseball, Discovery Channel, Samsung, Shell, ING, Zumba, and Florida Lottery. A passion to help others, Andres has also lent his talents to support non profit organizations, such as UNICEF, Save The Children, and Acción contra el Hambre, to name a few. Andrés continues to hone his craft, participating in workshops and masterclasses taught by esteemed colleagues, working with the likes of Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC as well as traveling as far as Cuba and Budapest, further refining his artistry.
