Sammy Montero

Sammy was raised in the Bronx in New York City. He spent his formative teenage years living in Puerto Rico, so he considers himself a true Nuyorican. It was while living in Puerto Rico that he began his acting journey. He was part of a small high school production that took him on a tour performing in colleges throughout the island. He returned to New York City in order to prepare for college, and attended Baruch College where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in International Marketing and a Minor Degree in Theatre. In college Sammy joined the theatre department and studied with Susan Spector using the Uta Hagen method. He acted in several productions at Baruch College and in other small theatres throughout New York City. In 2003, Sammy decided to take the plunge and pursue acting full-time in Los Angeles. He is a proud father of two young children, a devoted husband, and a proud comic book geek. He is certain that his hard work in the acting field will pay off and often reminds himself of the old Spanish saying, "todo a su debido tiempo" - all in due time.
