Originally from Philadelphia, Sam came to Los Angeles in 1990 to advance his career in Food and Beverage Management and Consulting. By chance he became featured in a documentary based on the redevelopment taking place on one of his projects, the historic Culver Hotel in Culver City, California, formerly owned by John Wayne and "home" to the Munchkins during the filming of "The Wizard of Oz". Following the conclusion of production on this project and the documentary, he was convinced by the crew that he should consider acting as a career, for he was very natural on camera and looked good on film. After studying acting with the Larry Moss Studio, taking private lessons and improv classes, and practicing on camera with other industry professionals, he felt ready to throw his hat into the ring. So far he has acted in TV and Film as well as several commercials, infomercials and industrials. Typically he plays a Cop or a Mobster, which seems to work well with his tough-guy exterior.
