It was evident at a very young age that his inherited gift of creativity (both his parents are artists) would surface at some point. But he didn't follow their footsteps into the art world. Instead, as a young teen, Vinnie Pergola chose to combine his natural curiosity for movies and television, together with his witty personality and imagination, on a venture of his own into the entertainment industry. After studying at the renowned Young Actors Space in Hollywood, success came quickly to Vinnie. Soon, he was working on such television hits as The Bernie Mac Show (2001),Still Standing (2002) and a guest appearance on the Showtime hit _Huff_, as a younger version of the lead character. In addition, Vinnie has worked for Disney on their original hit comedy, That's So Raven (2003), and guest starred on the hilarious ABC sitcom Complete Savages (2004). Vinnie says his most memorable acting experience had to be his first 'real' acting job where he was cast as the son of 'Joe Pesci's' character in a SBC commercial. He is quoted as saying, "Working with an Academy Award winning actor for my first job was the most amazing experience; he is a powerhouse." Other commercial work includes principal roles in spots for AT & T, Chevy Tahoe, and Airheads. Besides acting, Vinnie is a gifted drummer, and budding guitarist, recently adding a Fender Stratocaster electric to his collection. An avid classic rock enthusiast, his favorite bands include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles. Vinnie is a strong supporter of charitable work, and donates countless hours throughout the year to various organizations.
