Chris Rose is a writer, artist, journalist, narrator lecturer, performer, historian tour guide and dilettante, malefactor and general outlier. Over the past 35 years he has written for the Washington post, The Times Picayune, Playboy, NPR, the Lara report, vice news and HBO and many others. In addition, sharing a Pulitzer Prize for public service in 2006, He wrote "one dead in attic" a New York Times bestseller for non-fiction in 2007 and co-authored several songs with Dr. John for his Grammy award winning record "the city that care forgot" in addition to such accomplishments and accolades, he has also been dismissed from several reputable news organizations but mostly for honorable reasons! Rose has lived in New Orleans for the past 35 years where he raised three children who are good looking above average and emphatically disinterested in following in his professional footsteps footsteps.
