Stephen Kemp is a British born writer, director and executive producer based in the UK. A dual UK/Canadian citizen, he began his career in experimental theatre before working for a number of UK independent production houses where he concentrated on high-end hybrid drama / documentary projects, including the feature dramas After Armageddon for History US and The Abduction for SyFy. In 2013 he moved to Toronto where he was the Series Creator and Executive Producer on two seasons of the biker drama Gangland Undercover for History Channel / A&E. His 2016 Lifetime movie Girl In The Box was the channel's second-highest rated of the year, and was followed up by Girl In The Bunker which premiered in May 2018 and was again one of the network's most highly-rated MOWs of the year.
