Christie Miró recently appeared in the hit television series, Burn Notice. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to local television show host and comedian, Eddie Miró and Ita Medina, a dancer and choreographer. It didn't take long for Christie to follow her parents' footsteps. Growing up in the industry, she started working at a very young age on a children's TV shows, "Telecomicas", various local sitcoms also for Telemundo, Puerto Rico, like: "La Pensión Doña Tere", "Mi Familia", and "Los García Reunión Special". By that time she was already a member of numerous theater companies landing leading roles like Helena in William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". She has performed in a handful of productions, including: "Actrices (E.R.)" , "Vidas en Rosa", and "Amor en Caserio", "La Cigüena a la Escuela", directed by playwright Carlos Ferrari. Throughout her career she has been the principal talent and image in commercials, print, and voice for important companies and top brands. Christie also was the TV host of television shows for PBS (WIPR): "Xpresion" and "Expresate" When it comes to film, Christie has started in various Puerto Rican movies such as: "Taínos" and "Pasaporte a la Fama", and on more than 8 television movies with international exposure such as: "Por Carambolas", "Sirenas", "Las Infieles", "La Última Noche" along side Reggaeton recording artist, Tito El Bambino, among others.
