This talented actor's star began to rise after she replaced Robin Anne Phipps, who suffered an injury right before The Mandala Maker. Having seen Courtney's work in the horror film, The Feeding, and after a recommendation from actor friend Robert Pralgo, Director-Producer Sam Borowski moved quickly to offer Courtney the lead role of Naomi. In truth, Miss Hogan, has been a fixture on the Independent Film Scene for the past five years. Classically trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, Hogan soon returned to her native Georgia in 2002. It was on the set of the horror film, The Feeding in 2004 that she met Robert Pralgo. Soon thereafter Pralgo and Director Kely McClung cast Hogan in their action feature Blood Ties ('04), and later on Pralgo cast her in the horror film Zombie Invasion ('06). She also played a lead role in Keepsake ('07), which screened at Screamfest in Los Angeles in October, 2008. McClung went back to her again for his feature, Kerberos, filmed in Atlanta in 2008. She also co-starred with Pralgo in Harvest Moon, which won Best Horror-Comedy at Dragon Con 2008. Hogan has been a popular player in various shorts produced by the Florida State Film Program. Many of these shorts from this highly-rated program often qualify for Academy Awards . Recently, she gave such a convincing performance in Exhibit A-7, that many have wondered if she is still alive. Hogan's rising star on the indie scene, certainly proves that she is.
