Virginia Rogin was born to be an actress. Her propensity for theatre and film developed very early in her childhood and although she came from a family where men followed military careers, her artistic nature and her personal ambition drove her towards the "The National Institute of Art Theatre and Cinematography". She graduated in 1977 and got hired at probably the most "en vogue" theatre of the time in Romania, "Teatrul Tineretului" from Piatra-Neamt. After a series of memorable roles on the stage and in several films, in 1987 she transferred to one of the most prestigious theaters in Bucharest, "Odeon Theatre", where she reached the peak of her career and the acclaim of both the public and the critics. During the past ten years she became more involved in radio plays, television programs and commercials and especially a series of soap operas and short TV films.
