Legend has it Michael didn't utter his first word until he was three years old, but when he finally did, it wasn't just one--it was a whole story with a beginning, middle, and end. In high school, Michael had his own humor column in the school paper and acted in a bunch of the school plays. After high school, he moved to New York City to pursue acting, eat pizza, and join the mafia. Sadly, only one of these dreams was realized. It was at drama school that he learned he was really more of a writer than an actor after all. So he started writing scripts. Of course, nobody reads, so then he started directing them too. In 2019, he made his first feature film, The Movie, a shot-on-iPhone dark comedy about a creepy director who forces a washed-up actress to star in his movie with him, which just so happens to be the worst movie of all time. But will it be her final act?
