Mueen Jahan made his Broadway debut in 2004 in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of A.R. Rahman's 'Bombay Dreams.' Mueen's versatility in portraying a wide array of characters on Primetime Television, in Feature Films, and at major Regional Theaters across the U.S. has led to a successful forty year career as a professional entertainer. In that time, his extensive credits also encompass theme parks, cruise ships, and educational theatre. He holds an MFA in Acting from The University of Cincinnati and a BA in Acting from Shenandoah University. Mueen has been fortunate to work alongside such notable talent as James Gandolfini, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Vincent D'Onofrio, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patrick Warburton, Ariana Grande, Stacy Keach, Maria Bello, Dick Van Patten, Shirley Jones, Carrie Preston, Peter Gerety, Yara Shahidi, Reed Birney, Richard Burgi, and Eric Bogosian among others. A few directors that Mueen shares the pleasure of working with include such greats as James Burrows, Jonathan Frakes, Eric Laneuville , Stuart Ross, Frank Galati, and Jo Bonney. Mueen received a nomination for "Best Supporting Actor" at the Los Angeles Ovation Awards, which at that time, landed him a role on 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer.' His talents were also recognized with a Desert Theatre League Award nomination for his performance in the title role of 'A Perfect Ganesh.' A classically trained actor and lover of Shakespeare, Mueen has (at present) performed in 20 of Shakespeare's 36 plays. A personal goal of his is to complete the entire canon. As an ambassador championing BIPOC artists everywhere, Mueen is a notable advocate for diversity initiatives in the entertainment industry. When not found working on set or stage, he is an acting teacher and private coach in Los Angeles, CA.
