Mr. Goldfried started as an unpaid intern at Tollin/Robbins Productions in January of 2002, during the height of that company's success. He was an office Production Assistant there when the script for "Radio" came in. He went to South Carolina and shot behind-the-scenes video on that film, some of which appeared in the special features on the DVD. He then returned to L.A. and shot and coordinated the documentary "Hardwood Dreams: 10 Years Later." Shortly thereafter he moved to North Carolina and began working on "One Tree Hill" as a set Production Assistant and Locations Assistant, while also shooting behind-the-scenes video for MTV and the web to help promote the show. He did these jobs for the first two seasons. It was during that time that Executive Producers Joe Davola and Mark Schwahn began to take notice of Mr. Goldfried's work and brought him back to L.A. to oversee the Ancillary Activities of the show which included but was not limited to Marketing and Promotions, and Product Placement and Integrations. Mr. Goldfried ultimately became a Co-Producer and Director on "One Tree Hill" having completed principal photography on his directorial debut, episode 8.16 entitled "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" in January of 2011. He has directed, produced, edited, and shot hundreds of behind-the-scenes videos for the web and other mediums to promote "One Tree Hill." He directed and produced the special features on the DVD boxed sets as well. In February 2012, Mr. Goldfried was asked to be one of the first producer/directors at Awesomeness TV. He went on to produce and direct many of the YouTube startup's most successful series' including "Mindless Takeover," "Jacob Latimore Takeover," "Greyson Chance Takeover," and "Janoskians Takeover," garnering millions of total views. Based on the success of "Mindless Takeover," a series which helped launch Awesomeness TV in 2012, Mr. Goldfried was hired to produce and direct his feature film debut, the concert documentary "Mindless Behavior: All Around the World" which premiered on 125 screens across America in March, 2013 and is now available on DVD, Blu-Ray, On Demand, iTunes, and more.
