Massimo Giordano

Born in Pompei, Italy the son of a mason and homemaker. Later moved to Trieste, Italy to study the flute at the G. Tartini Conservatory. Graduated as a flutist in 1989 and later went on to study voice. Debuted at the Salzburg Festspiel in 2001 and later appeared in all the major opera houses in the world including La Scala in Milan, Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Carnegie Hall. Sang in honor of Pope John Paul close to his death in 2005. Recorded a solo album " Amore e Tormento" with the Ensemble Del Maggio Musical Fiorentino.
